Woohooo! Don’t get me wrong, some of them are very nice, the majority play awful. I had an RG370DX (not the top model, I know) and it played awful. The floyd copy was shockingly bad, the neck was uncomfy and it fet very fragile!

Well, it’s very genre dependent and mood dependent. I really like the PRS brand for general rock, for metal I’m gonna have to say ESP or Mayonnes. Jackson all have a place in my heart because a jackson was my first ‘real’ guitar. I love all types really :) (don’t like ibanez though!)

The new E-II models will occupy the space between LTD’s more affordable guitars and the Custom Shop models. The ESP Standard series will still be available while stocks last, so if you must have a mid-priced guitar with ESP on the headstock, now is the time to hit the shops.

Been playing around on the Frank Montag virtual guitar creator. I wanted to see how true to live these guitars could be and I’ve gotta say, I’m blown away. I tried to mirror the ESP Eclipse-1 CTM Vibrato and apart from the fretboard inlays which looked better in gold, I’ve got it almost lifelike! Took the chance, while my parent were out of the house to get some decent photos of my PRS. The light in the lounge is perfect. My room is facing the wrong way for me to get decent lighting, so with a free house, I took some time on the shots. Did the same with my Jackson. This is my ‘metal’ guitar. It’s from the JS series range, which is Jackson’s entry level series. Got it when I was entry level, but I’ve grown attached to it. The finish, in my opinion, is one of the nicest finishes around. I took out the bridge humbucker and stuck a Seymour Duncan Invader into it and believe me, it’s hot! This guitar handles Drop B and below and is currently string with D’addario (not my first choice admittedly) Extra Heavy 12-60s. This guitar is superb, it really is.
